About Us
As photographers and producers, we've always recognized how difficult, slow, costly, and complicated it can be to film in water. Water has always been a significant part of our personal lives as sailors, divers, surfers, and canoe paddlers.
A CineNautic was born naturally from the relationship between the three of us and the needs of many films that required more than just a boat and a radio. It wasn’t initially designed or planned but evolved into the comprehensive solution it is today
Currently, we are the only company in Latin America offering all water services for film, TV, and events. Globally, there are fewer than 10 companies with the same scope as ours.
Our vast inventory of vehicles, boats, anchors, radios, underwater housing, splash bags, GPS units, and countless smaller items allows us to respond quickly to a wide range of demands, from one day to another.
We identified that whether underwater, at the surface, or flying over water, everything presents challenges. Therefore, we've come with efficient workflows, acquired and prepared the proper equipment, and acknowledged that nature cannot be controlled. The output of our action is a rational, logical, and creative achievement, harnessing the best that water offers in terms of movement, fluidity, balance, optical distortion, and personality, transforming it into a giant character for various types of projects and budgets.
With over 65 years of combined experience among our three partners, thousands of hours filmed and navigated in every corner of the world, we continue to learn and improve daily to be the best version of ourselves.
Our vision is to include you - filmmaker, photographer, grip, producer. Never hesitate to send us a message, even if it's just to brainstorm together.

Water for Everyone
Water, in its various forms - liquid, solid, or gas - permeates all spaces, regardless of size or shape. And that’s how its presence in filmmaking should be.
We believe that every production deserves to fuse water into its narrative, expanding it's potential and allowing it to navigate further and further.
We advocate that filming on water can be accessible and feasible for all types of projects, adapting to the proposed spaces and delivering everything the production needs, regardless of its size or budget.
We undertake pro bono projects (in partnership and support) for feature and short fiction films, documentaries, music videos, college projects, and low-budget productions with or without government incentives. Send an email to ian.h@cinenautic.co explaining your project so we can make it happen together.
